Option – 1
Sri Lanka Knuckles Mountain Range – World Heritage site Declared by UNESCO
Grade Level – Smooth / Medium
Highlights – Tea plantation / Waterfalls / Marvelous Sunsets / Bird’s / Animal / Fabulous Basic Camping
- Day 1
Knuckles mountain range is One of the most beautiful rain forests in Sri Lanka and in the year 2010, it has been declared by UNESCO As a world heritage site. After the breakfast when your drive by car for about two hours, you come across the “Knuckles range” Then we start treading across mountain through pygmy forest and tea plantations and for the first time you come across remains of Volcanoes which were active about 1200 years ago. thereafter, until your reach the end of the trip, the trekking, Hill working, looking for a bird’s and animal will be under the forest Canopy.
On your way you can see varieties of bird’s endemic to Knuckles, medicinal herbs beautiful waterfalls etc. when your trekking through the rain forest you can see wild boars, mongoose, wildcats and sambar deer etc. and sometime Can see glimpse of leopards. there are large number of foot paths in Knuckles Mountain range, prepared by British men when Sri Lanka was under their siege, you will be pleased to undertake walking tours along those foot paths arranged by our Company for your Pleasure. At the end of walking tours, you can go to the Ash Cave Camp sites at the Middle of Knuckles range to spend an Unforgettable Chicken barbecue at the night,

- Day 2
After breakfast we can go to knuckles mountain range through ever green wood to see its beauty. There you will come across a various variety of birds and other animals and we can Climb up the highest mountain peak top. After Completing all walking tours, we Can drive by Vehicle to the lake Camp site OR home stay within two hours.

- Day 3
Having a wakeup early in the morning and having seen the sunrise we must go to a large and beautiful lake by a paddle boat to see varieties of endemic and exotic birds and scenery around. you will get the chance to row the paddle boat which will give you a lot of experience. later, having come back to “Lake camp site” OR “home stay” and having taken the breakfast, we can proceed on foot to see the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka. After this walking trip we will return again to Kandy.

Returning time – at 5.00 pm

- Day 2
Having a wakeup early in the morning and having seen the sunrise we must go to a large and beautiful lake by a paddle boat to see varieties of endemic and exotic birds and scenery around. you will get the chance to row the paddle boat which will give you a lot of experience. later,,, having come back to “Lake camp site” and having taken the breakfast, so after that Aborigine people ( Veddhas ) who are an ethnic group on the verge of extinction are living in an area of their Own and i will take you to see them and to view their museum built with high but primitive technology, and later take you to see wasgamuwa national park & sanctuary to see wild animals like sambar deer, Lot of birds, crocodiles and elephant and quickly disappearing glimpse of bears and leopards. At the end of Safari, you can go to home stay at Valley.

- Day 3
After breakfast Lord Buddha first visited Sri Lanka to suppress (demon) yaksha tribes. having done that on an invitation from God Sumana (saman) his hair relics were given to God sumana (saman) who enshrined them in a stupa in this area. i will take my guests to see that temple. then we do a walking tour to see the widest jungle waterfall in Sri Lanka and on completion of the tours we will return to Kandy.

- Day 2
After breakfast we can go to knuckles mountain range through ever green wood to see its beauty. There you will come across a various variety of birds and other animals and we can Climb up the highest mountain peak top. especially since “Knuckles” range consists of a 9 mountain peaks. on the second day we could climb at least 5 main peaks and with the enjoy we derive and having seen the beautiful scenery we must return to the last day same camp site for rest.

- Day 3
After the breakfast the descend starts and on the way, we come across waterfalls, valleys, and plateaus, which enhances the beauty of Knuckles. Amidst the pockets of wildness, you can bathe in waterfalls and after lunch we walk across villages which would give a glimpse of the village environment and finally, we return to again Kandy.
